New Name: Once Upon A Dreamer
This blog has been renamed to Once Upon A Dreamer.
I have always been really meticulous when it comes to choosing names. The usernames and page names that you choose reflect who you are and what you stand for. I take this very seriously because want to make sure that I represent my image and personality accurately online.
People know me on most sites (Tumblr, Pinterest, etc) as darlingdivine, which is a testament to my love for Old Hollywood charm and style. However, that name has already been taken on Blogger. While I like my name, Elizabeth Rosalyn, I think it's best suited for an online portfolio, which I plan to set up sometime soon.
So here we have Once Upon a Dreamer, which I derived from the Disney classic, Sleeping Beauty. The name evokes a sense of sentimentality and optimism that fits perfectly well with my tagline: a girl whose hopes and dreams could adorn the sky...
And the name just so happened to be available on Blogger, so I knew that it was meant to be. :)
All of my past names should now redirect to here. Please adjust your bookmarks and affiliate links accordingly. Also, expect a layout redesign to follow shortly.
Thank you for your patience with my frequent indecisive regarding this blog!

Here's To You Wild Magnolias Just Waiting To Bloom
My sincere apologies for abandoning this blog yet again. I seem to have a habit of starting new projects with the intentions of maintaining something substantial and long-lasting, but as always, I get sidetracked by the distractions of real-life responsibilities, tempting television shows, ooh!shiny objects of fascination, etc.
Last year, I lost my way. I found it a struggle to connect with my identity and my purpose in life. It's a scary when you feel like you might have been chasing the wrong dreams for twenty plus years. Along this confusing time, I also lost my passion and motivation for writing. I just could not find subjects to blog about, nor right words to express myself. It was a hard time, but, through all of the lessons I've learned in 2010, the most valuable piece of wisdom I've acquired is that it is never to late to make a clean start and become the person you want to be!
With the arrival of the new year, I have resolved to make 2011 the year of total creative inspiration! I'm hoping that this, my third attempt at revitalizing this blog, will be a success. What better day to start than on the eve of my 22nd birthday?
Thank you to all of my loyal readers for continuing to stand by. You are lovely. And to all of my new followers, welcome! I look forward to discussing everything new, old and tried and true with you! Cheers xx

1, 2, 3, Peter, Paul and Mary
Three months later...
I first revived this site back in the beginning of April after three years of inactivity with the intention of establishing myself as an entertainment/pop culture/fashion/lifestyle blogger extraordinare. Of course, my procrastination habits made my mission of maintaining a regularly updated blog an impossibility. So here I am again, three months after my last post (dated April 21st), with a new look and a restored interest in blogging. In order to stay on track this time around, I think I should set a more realistic goal of publishing one entry every three days.
Be on the lookout this week for three waves of updates: album reviews for three of my favourite releases from the past three monts, a list of the Top 10 songs on my summer playlist and a special promotional spot for one of my favourite artists (if you know me, it should be painfully obvious to whom I'm referring to..)
Stay tuned...
(P.S. I plan to re-locate my professional portfolio to the Darling Divine domain - found here. Thanks to Sam for your help in installing the layout for that site!)
(P.P.S. Snaps to Brooke White on the anniversary of her stunning record, "High Hopes & Heartbreak".)

Honey! I'm Home!
After a tremendously long hiatus, Elizabeth Rosalyn is back in blogging action!
A lot has changed in three years. I graduated from secondary school in 2007 and enrolled at Simon Fraser University (where I'm currently in my third year of studies, pursuing a degree in Communication and English). My family has had its fair share of celebrations and challenges (from the birth of my niece, Jana in the summer of 2007 to my mother's stroke last fall). Over the course of these past thirty-six months, I've grown a lot as a person (mentally, not physically, haha) and learned more about who I am and what I strive to be.
Through it all, music has been my constant, leading me to life-changing discoveries, everlasting memories and some of the best friends I've ever met. Personally, I've never felt more hopeful and confident towards life and what the future holds in store, and I owe it all to the gift of song. This blog is a tribute to the music and the artists that have helped me get to where I am today.
